Hey, I’m Olivia!
I’m 20 and in my second year at Colorado State University, studying Natural Resource Tourism. I was born and raised in Colorado and I have always loved the outdoors, but my deep love for traveling and being alive was a butterfly effect of becoming chronically ill.
I got sick when I was 14 and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease on the first day of sophomore year when I was 15. Becoming sick flipped my world upside down and I had no idea how to navigate it for a long time.
Through a lot of acceptance, learning about myself and my new limitations, and allowing myself to let go of what I thought my life was supposed to look like, I fell in love with life again.
I have learned a whole lot about life since becoming sick, and I’m here to share it all with you.
Welcome to my blog, where I share tips, stories, and bits of inspiration about traveling, chronic illness, and creating that life you dream of.
I also run the blog for Pure World. Check out those blog posts here.
